It isn’t easy to see someone you love give away years of precious life and well-being just because of nicotine…It is equally difficult to be subjected to daily passive smoking...
Obviously, you wish he/she would stop, in fact you wish they would all stop…You should however know that the decision to stop must be a personal one: this is the key to success and long-lasting cessation. Your role therefore does not consist in putting any pressure on the smoker, but rather to understand, listen, be patient, motivate and learn how to answer to some of the questions.
